Project Description
YUKI is an upbeat mix of the bullet-hell and roguelike genres in VR, set in an incredible anime universe.
In October 2022 we were invited by VIVE to make an MR version to showcase the potential of its new Mixed Reality Headset at CES. We had little time to create this new game mode and also later include it in the official game to be available on other headsets.
I was the Lead Tech Art for this project. Doing the research and development of the limits of the headsets we would work on, looking for how to make interactions in mixed reality, the portals that should work in any virtual reality headset and leading the development and implementation of special effects.
